Prithviraj Teaser OUT: Akshay Kumar And Sanjay Dutt’s Valour Will Take Your Breath Away; Movie To Release On 21st January
The teaser and release date of Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood’s upcoming actioner Prithviraj is out
Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood starrer upcoming film titled ‘Prithviraj’ is one of the highly-awaited movies for obvious reason. The Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s directorial has been in the news ever since it was announced. While fans are eagerly waiting to see more glimpses of this actioner, the makers have released its intriguing teaser. Not just teaser, they have also unveiled the release date of the film. Prithviraj is slated to hit the theatres on 21st January 2022.
Akshay, who plays the role of fearless warrior and legendary king Prithviraj Chauhan, took to his Instagram handle to treat fans with its teaser and also announced its release date. Sharing the poster of the movie, the actor wrote, “A heroic story about pride and valour. Proud to play Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan. Celebrate #Prithviraj with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 21st January’22.”
The 1:22 minute-long teaser introduces Akshay as king Prithviraj Chauhan and shows his valour. He is heard saying in the video, “I have lived for duty, I will die for duty.” Akshay is seen fighting valiantly against the merciless invader Muhammad of Ghor. Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood and Manushi Chhillar are also seen in the teaser.

In a statement, Akshay Kumar, talking about the teaser, said, “The teaser of Prithviraj captures the soul of the film, the essence of the life of the legendary warrior Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan who knew no fear. This is our tribute to his heroism and his life. The more I read about him, the more I was awed by how he lived and breathed every single second of his glorious life for his country and his values.”
‘Prithviraj’ was announced on the occasion of Akshay Kumar's 52nd birthday. The movie has been directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and is produced by Yash Raj Films. It marks the Bollywood debut of the former Miss World Manushi Chhillar.
