Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar are filled with excitement like little kids as they inch closer towards the premiere of their upcoming movie The Sky Is Pink at the Toronto International Film Festival. The movie will be premiered on September 13, 2019, and will release worldwide on October 11, 2019
The cast of the movie The Sky Is Pink is just a couple of hours away from the grand premiere to be held at Toronto International Film Festival. We can already sense the excitement among the cast. Following the female lead Priyanka Chopra who left for Toronto four days ago, now the male lead Farhan Akhtar is bubbling with joy as he inches towards the premiere night. Both the actors took to his Instagram handle and shared a boomerang video which is all fun but both had Zaira Wasim missing in them.
In the boomerang video, we can see Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar goofing with an umbrella and actor Rohit Saraf is seen with a towel. The actor expressed about his excitement for the premiere night in the caption, he wrote, “Toronto .. here we come !! #TheSkyIsPink at #TIFF” The trailer of the movie won millions of hearts which hit the online platform a few days ago. Ahead of the trailer release, the actor created a buzz among his fans by posting movie stills with all heartwarming notes.
Priyanka, as she headed to the festival, has tweeted about the same. Her caption was also about the excitement to meet the team and for the movie's grand premiere during this prestigious film festival. Her caption read, “On my way to @TIFF_NET today. The movie is set to premiere at TIFF on September 13, 2019, whereas the movie will release on October 11, 2019. The Sky Is Pink has reunited Farhan and Priyanka once again on the silver screen after Zoya Akhtar’s directorial venture Dil Dhadakne Do in 2015.
