Priyanka Chopra who is back in Mumbai is busy promoting her upcoming film The Sky Is Pink. With reality shows offering a great platform for the stars to promote their movies, Priyanka shot for an episode of Dance India Dance. Yes, the same one judged by Kareena Kapoor Khan. Now Bebo and PeeCee have been great pals and they even appeared on Koffee With Karan 6 together. However, their equation has not always been like this and reportedly they had a ‘cold’ war going on between them.
Digging the history, one recalls that Kareena Kapoor had once taken a dig at Priyanka’s accent. On one of the seasons of KWK, she had asked ‘where does PeeCee get her accent from?’ Later when Priyanka appeared on the show, she gave a witty reply, “I got it from the same place her boyfriend (Kareena was then dating Saif Ali Khan) got it from." This was termed as the ‘war of words’ between the two actresses. Then the Shahid Kapoor connect too was reported to be a reason between the two stars being at war. Kareena first dated Shahid Kapoor and then it was Priyanka. When the ladies appeared on Koffee With Karan 6, they addressed this connection with PeeCee saying, “Actually, that was not a point of contention. It was the only point of commonality.”
All in the past, Bebo and Priyanka are good friends. When Kareena and Priyanka appeared on Koffee With Karan 6 they were nothing but appreciative of each other of course, whilst keeping their cattiness alive. Kareena praised Priyanka for representing India on a Global level while the latter was all praise of how the former had a lovely family. Not just on Karan's show, the ladies have appreciated each others work in random interviews as well. Priyanka had once appreciated Bebo for carrying her pregnancy with grace. She was quoted saying, "I remember seeing those pictures and I was like, damn see now that’s what I am going to do too," to Mumbai Mirror. Kareena had also appreciated Priyanka when she had done Mary Kom. She had quoted to DNA, "I think Priyanka was apt for Mary Kom. I don't see any other actor, any one of us doing that role the way she did it. So there are certain things. Like Jab We Met was meant for me, so there are certain roles that an actor can do like there was Omkara or Chameli."
