Priyanka Chopra Jonas On Her Marriage With Husband Nick Jonas; Says ‘My Mom Manifested Him’

Bollywood actress and Global icon, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who recently released her memoir titled Unfinished, spoke about her marriage with Nick Jonas, during an interview with Oprah Winfrey. The actress opened up about her relationship with Nick. PeeCee also talked about how her mother actually dreamt a man for her and manifested it. The White Tiger actress shared how her mom dreaming of a man for her eventually led to her finding Nick Jonas and falling in love with him, to them both finally getting married in India.
In a clip that was shared on Winfrey’s official YouTube channel, Oprah quoted an excerpt from Priyanka’s memoir ‘Unfinished’ and said, “I read where you said your mom, you think, dreamed him up, or had some spiritual force in bringing him into your life because you’d been in bad relationships and your mother said, ‘I hope that one day you just meet somebody who sweeps you off your feet.’ And then, along comes Nick Jonas…” The Sky Is Pink actress laughed when Oprah asked her about what she had shared in her memoir.
Answering Oprah’s question, PeeCee revealed how she did not take Nick texting her very seriously. The actress said, “I may have judged the book by the cover. I didn’t honestly take it very seriously when Nick was texting me.” She shared the reason behind her many reservations and added, “I was 35, I was like, ‘I want to get married, I want to have kids. He’s in his 20s, I don’t if that’s something he’d want to do’. I did that to myself for a while, till I actually went out with him.” Priyanka then went on to heap praises of her husband and called him a “self-assured” and a “sensible” man. The actress said, “[He is] so excited about my achievements, my dreams. It’s such a true partnership that he offers me in everything that we do together. I truly believe that my mom manifested him.”
Priyanka spoke about the kind of relationship her parents had, and shared how she is glad she has found the same values with her husband. Talking about her mom, the actress said, “She had a marriage of partnership. Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress has started shooting for her upcoming Russo Brothers web series Citadel. She was last seen in the Oscar-nominated film The White Tiger.
