Last night, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas threw a lavish party for relatives, friends and journalists. We were also a part of PeeCee’s big moment. We arrived for the party at JW Marriott (Juhu) by 10:30 PM and were quickly escorted to the dais where Priyanka and Nick were greeting the guests. Right from showing the invitation card to tying a ‘NP’ band around your wrist, the security was tight--- so that nobody gatecrashes.
Priyanka and Nick spoke to us very warmly and clicked a picture too. Priyanka looked mesmerising. The venue was decorated with white flowers which made it look so ethereal. We also spoke to Priyanka's mother, Madhu Chopra; the lady looked very happy. After sometime, the couple headed to another room, where they were surrounded by their close pals. And we headed for some wine-n-dinner and a bit of interactions with journalists.

The grand wedding happened in Umaid Bhawan, Jodhpur on December 1-2 in Hindu and Christian style ceremonies. In an interview with THe People, the actress had said, “It was all tears. All tears. I could not hold it in. I think I was nervous and scared. But as soon as the curtains opened, and I saw his face it was just like everything settled and I knew I was making the best decision of my life.”
After the wedding, the couple held a reception in Delhi that saw PM Narendra Modi in attendance. The ongoing reception at JW Marriott was the second in line and the one at Taj Lands End tonight is the third. No prizes for guessing that it’s going to be a star-studded evening.
