Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas Wedding Reception: Salman Khan Is Here! Time To Kiss And Make Up

Looks like this is the night where Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra will put the past behind. Minutes ago, the superstar has walked in to congratulate the actress on her wedding. This is indeed a huge step since Priyanka-Salman had a fallout when she walked out of his project, Bharat. While the actress was replaced by Katrina Kaif, the superstar subtly hinted at his disappointment several times. During an interview with Bombay Times, Salman had said, “She (Priyanka) had a reason to do that. It's just that the project got stuck. Had we known earlier, we could have worked it out better. She was getting engaged and I told her, 'If you are getting engaged, what's the need (of exiting the project)?' Then she said, 'Shaadi karni hai' to which I said 'Toh shaadi kar lo'. Priyanka's work was for 75-80 days. Shaadi ke liye chaar din ka preparation, aur chaar din ki shaadi, aath din ke andar ho gayi aur phir uske baad honeymoon. So, we said we will work it out. But she was very clear that she didn't want to be a part of the film. It must have been very difficult for her to make this decision because she was very keen to work on this project. She has called up Arpita (Khan Sharma) a thousand times, saying, 'I want to work with Salman'. She has even called up Ali (Abbas Zafar, director) and told him, 'See if you can get me something in this film’.”
Before that too, at the launch event of Bigg Boss 12, he had said, “It was sweet of her to let us know 5 days before the start of our shooting schedule.” Now that he is here, evidently all is well. With Salman attending the reception, we assume his sister Arpita Khan Sharma will too grace the event. After all, she was by Priyanka’s side during the Roka ceremony and during the wedding in Jodhpur.

The couple held their first reception in Delhi, which was attended by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
