In case you're living under a rock, let us tell you, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Katrina Kaif are set to share screen space together in Farhan Khan's next film 'Jee Lee Zaara'. Through this movie, PeeCee, Alia and Katrina will show us the importance of friendship and we just cannot wait for this stunner of a casting coup! Taking to Twitter, Farhan wrote, "Did someone say road trip? Thrilled to announce my next film as director and what better day than years of 'Dil Chahta Hai' to do it. #JeeLeZaraa with @priyankachopra #KatrinaKaif @aliaa08. I cannot wait to get this show on the road.

Just like the cinegoers, Katrina, Priyanka and Alia are also beyond excited! Taking to Instagram, Priyanka Chopra shared how she first thought of doing an all-female cast movie, and later called up Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif to discuss the idea and met them last year just before the world shut down to discuss in detail about who will bring this vision to life and more. Coincidentally, Farhan Akhtar was also working on a female road trip movie at the same time and 'all the stars aligned'.

Priyanka wrote, "Let’s rewind, to me musing about wanting to do another Hindi movie ASAP, on an unusually rainy night in Mumbai in Nov 2019. But it had to be the right one - different, cool, never been done before… I thought. The idea grew into a movie helmed by an all-female cast. There are not enough Hindi movies that are female multi-starrers. This led to an impulsive phone call… to my 2 real friends about this idea that involved 3 on-screen girlfriends. "Katrina, Alia, and I enthusiastically met in February 2020 (as seen in this picture), just before the world shut down, to discuss who we could trust to bring this vision to life for us and our choice was unanimous… Farhan and Ritesh, Zoya and Reema. We had all worked with @excelmovies and @tigerbabyfilms individually so this seemed perfect. It just so happened that Farhan was working on a female road trip movie at the same time! Talk about all the stars aligning!!"

Katrina also shared her excitement and wrote, "This makes my heart smile I just love these girls and being around each other is just too much fun always - combine that with a great script , awesome director , and a road trip and a and the sky’s the limit."

Alia Bhatt in her post mentioned that after 50 zoom calls later and countless laughs later, they are finally here with "Jee Le Zaara". Directed by Farhan Akhtar, Jee Le Zaara will be released in 2023. Are you as excited as we are? Yayy!
