Priyanka Chopra’s New Restaurant Has ‘Crab Puri And Caviar’, ‘Golgappa Shots’ On The Menu; Hubby Nick Jonas Suggested The Name Sona - More Deets HERE

Priyanka Chopra is on a roll! Her list of achievements is endless, and while the actress has several interesting projects in her kitty, she is also simultaneously handling other things too. Her memoir Unfinished was published in February this year. Now, she has also opened her restaurant named Sona, in New York City. The restaurant opened its doors to the public, and Stranger Things star Michael Park was also seen paying the restaurant a visit. Now, it has also been revealed what’s on the menu of Sona, and it looks quite interesting.
The head chef of Sona, Hari Nayak has revealed the menu, and in an interview with Vogue. While the menu also has familiar Indian dishes like Dahi Kachori and Kofta Korma, it also consists of some quirky out-of-the-box dishes like Golgappa shots and Crab Puri and Caviar, which happens to be Priyanka Chopra’s favourite. The menu also has Nick Jonas’ favourite Gajar Halwa. The chef revealed that Crab Puri and caviar is a buttery garlic Bombay style crab that is topped with caviar. He further added, “Priyanka did several tastings with us. Golgappa Shots was her idea; it’s her way of getting the party started.” There’s also Butter Chicken, Goan fish curry, and Buckwheat Bhel on the menu.
Meanwhile, in the same interview, Priyanka’s business partner Maneesh Goyal revealed that it was Nick Jonas who suggested the restaurant’s name Sona. He said that after a tasting with his brothers, Nick suggested the name. “We were all like: What? How do you know even that word?” said Maneesh.
He then revealed that Nick had learnt about the word and found out its meaning at his wedding! Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra’s sister-in-law Danielle also visited the restaurant along with her sister Dina Deleasa- Gonsar.
