Priyanka Chopra Unveils Teaser Of Debut Marathi Production
The actress has forayed into Marathi cinema with the comedy Ventilator, which features Ashutosh Gowariker
The teaser of actress Priyanka Chopra’s first Marathi production Ventilator has been unveiled. The actress, who turned producer under the banner of Purple Pebble Pictures, took to Facebook to share the clip with her fans.
Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker will be seen onscreen after a long gap (Ashutosh Gowariker to face camera after 18 years, Jul 26) and his turn looks set to win over some new fans.
The film, which also features several veteran Marathi film and theatre actors, is directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, who previously directed Ferrari Ki Sawaari.
The plot revolves Gajanand, a comatose man, and his relatives, friends and family who deal with life while he survives with the aid of a ventilator.
Earlier reports claimed that the film will mark the acting debut of Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra but the actress's spokesperson had denied that report. While her mother may not be stepping into showbiz anytime soon, Priyanka has said that she hopes to create a platform for great stories with her production house.
