Radhe: Salman Khan Says Drug Angle In The Film Was Shot Much Before NCB Probe In Maharashtra: It Has Been A Problem For A Long Time
Salman Khan’s upcoming film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is among one of the most highly anticipated films of this year. In the film, Salman plays the role of a cop who goes on to bust drug nexus in Mumbai. Recently, the superstar opened up about tackling the subject of drugs in his upcoming film Radhe and said that it has been a problem for a long time. He said that the drug angle in the film was shot before the drug investigation by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) was launched in Maharashtra.

Salman Khan said during a promotional group interview that they had completed shooting for Radhe before the drug investigation took over Maharashtra. Salman was quoted saying by Zoom, “It has been a problem for a long time. Even before this drug investigation took over Maharashtra, we had already completed shooting the film. But now it became relevant. I have always been against drugs. Here, people are misusing it. We have nieces and nephews who are very young and might get influenced."

He further added that as soon as one takes drugs, their body and mind both crave it, so one has to be ten times stronger than that. “Families go through problems, then siblings go through problems. So in Radhe, we have touched upon this subject- a man who goes on to clean up the city,” said Salman Khan.

Meanwhile, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai on Eid. While it was earlier supposed to release on Eid last year, it got postponed owing to the Coronavirus pandemic. Radhe also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda in pivotal roles, and it will have a multi-format release worldwide on May 13.
