Raj Kaushal Prayer Meet: Mouni Roy Arrives At Mandira Bedi's Residence To Pay Her Final Respects
Several celebrities, including Mouni Roy and Vidya Malavade arrived to pay their respects to late filmmaker Raj Kaushal at a prayer meet
Mandira Bedi's husband and filmmaker-producer Raj Kaushal passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. He died due to cardiac arrest at the age of 49. The news came as a big shock to the film industry, who had taken to social media to offer their condolences. After the news broke, many of Mandira and Raj's friends, including Ronit Roy, Ashish Choudhary, Shilpa Saklani, and Apurva Agnihotri visited Mandira to pay their respects.
On Saturday afternoon, a prayer meet was held. Several celebrities arrived to pay their respects. Mandira Bedi's closest friend from the industry, Mouni Roy was reportedly the first one to arrive at the prayer meet. In the video, dressed in a white suit, Mouni can be seen making her way inside. Besides her, Chak De India actress Vidya Malavade, actor Ashish Chowdhry's wife Samita were also present. Mandira Bedi's son Vir and daughter Tara were also seen at the prayer meet.
Director Onir, who had worked with Kaushal on My Brother Nikhil, confirmed the news of his tragic death on his Twitter account. He tweeted, Gone too soon. We lost Film maker and Producer @rajkaushal1 this morning. Very Sad. He was one of the producers of my first film #MyBrotherNikhil. One of those few who believed in our vision and supported us. Prayers for his soul.”

Earlier, while talking to SpotboyE, Dino Morea had said, “I’ve just left the crematorium. Very saddened by this. Raj was such a fun jovial guy, full of life. How could this happen to him at such a young age?."
