Post the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, Rhea Chakraborty ruled the headlines as the late actor's father reportedly accused her of abetment to suicide. Later, she was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in a drug case related to Sushant Singh Rajput's death. After almost a month, Rhea Chakraborty was granted bail. Now, the Jalebi actress is slowly trying to get back to her normal life. It was recently that Rajiv Lakshman shared some candid pictures of Rhea on social media.
Rajiv shared two pictures on social media that see her hugging Rhea Chakraborty. In the caption, he has written 'My Girl'. We see Rhea smiling whilst posing with Rajiv in the pictures. The actress can be seen dressed in a checkered blazer. It seems Rhea joined Rajiv over a dinner. As he shared the pictures, Rajiv has turned off the comments section.
Talking about Rhea getting back to work, it was filmmaker Rumi Jaffery who revealed that she will commence work on her project soon. To Mid-day the filmmaker was quoted saying, "I am confident she will get through this phase. Everybody around will advise you to be brave, but only the one going through [the ordeal] knows how difficult it is. Time is the best healer; with time, she will be fine. She is a talented artiste and will be ready to bounce back."
In an exclusive interview with Subhash K Jha for SpotboyE, Rumi had also shared how spending time in jail had crushed Rhea's morale. "It has been a traumatic year for her. Of course, the year was bad for everyone. But in her case, it was trauma on another level. Can you imagine any girl from a well-to-do middle-class family spending a month in jail? It has crushed her morale completely," he stated.
