Rajkummar Rao-Janhvi Kapoor's RoohiAfza Postponed To Avoid Clash With Big B-Ayushmann Khurrana’s Gulabo Sitabo?
Ayushmann Khurrana is currently known as Bollywood's hit machine, what with him delivering back-to-back hits. Now, in a bid to avoid a clash with his Amitabh Bachchan co-starrer Gulabo Sitabo, the makers of RoohiAfzah starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor have decided to postpone their film.
Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana’s starrer ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ has been garnering quite the attention of the audiences. While the ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ team has wrapped up their shooting schedule, the film was mostly shot in parts of Lucknow. As Ayushmann Khurrana is currently known as the latest hit machine in Bollywood with his back to back hits, according to reports, to avoid a clash at the box-Office with Ayushmann’s ‘Gulabo Sitabo’, Rajkummar Rao’s film ‘RoohiAfza’ makers might postpone the release dates of the film.
Amitabh Bachchan-Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ and Rajkummar Rao-Janhvi Kapoor starrer ‘RoohiAfza’ were supposed to clash in theatres on April 17, 2020. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the makers of Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer ‘RoohiAfza’ are planning to delay and postpone the release date of the film in order to avoid a clash with Ayushmann Khurrana and Amitabh Bachchan at the Box-Office. The film ‘RoohiAfza’ is a horror-comedy while ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ is a quirky drama based film. As both films are slated to hit theatres on April 17, 2020, RoohiAfza producer Dinesh Vijan has been taking a fresh release date into consideration for his Rajkummar-Janhvi starrer. There is no official announcement from the makers of the film ‘RoohiAfza’ as of yet, but an announcement in terms of the release is expected soon.
Meanwhile, film Gulabo Sitabo is directed by Shoojit Sircar and stars Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana in pivotal roles. Helmed by Hardik Mehta, film RoohiAfza stars Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor, and Varun Sharma in lead roles.
