HIT OR FLOP: Bigg Boss 13, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 Or Choti Sardarni?
The list is just out! It’s that usual Thursday where tempers run high, it’s that time of the week. We bring it to you with our set of opinions
If you’re an avid TV viewer then you’re bound to be excited to know which show rocked it on the TRP list and which show faltered or experienced a dip. Every Thursday the tables turn and some new entrants shine on the chart, while some others get chucked out from the list. How’s the scene in Week 50? Let’s find out here.
As usual, we begin with Salman Khan hosted controversial reality show Bigg Boss 13 that’s been talk of the town from the onset. While, the show never made it in the list in the initial weeks, since the last few weeks, it is making its presence felt in the TRP chart, however, in the bottom slots.
In Week 49, Bigg Boss was placed at No 9 and surprisingly, this time it has slipped to the bottom of the list i.e. on 10th position. Even the impressions have seen a decline from 5257 to 5124. Sidharth Shukla’s comeback post illness should have boosted the show, but it hasn’t helped. In fact, Mastermind Vikas Gupta’s entry on the show should have also added a positive plus, but that didn’t happen either. Let’s see what happens next week.
Another popular singing reality show Indian Idol 11 is back in the race after being absent for a week. Now let’s see which show is ruling the top slot. On No 1 is Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka. The show is indeed giving a tough fight to serials like Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya which usually occupied the numero uno slot.
On the 2nd spot is Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. This show is doing quite well sans Dayaben as last time it was on No 3 and now it has gone up by a slot. Kundali Bhagya has slipped to the 3rd slot from the 1st, thanks to Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka.
Then, we have shows like Choti Sardarni and Kumkum Bhagya that are stable on No 4 and 5 respectively. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has slipped from 6th to the 7th slot. Next is Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. So, this show was missing in action for quite a few weeks and has suddenly bounced back for good. In fact, it is moving up the ladder which is a good sign. Last time it was on No 10 and now it’s placed on the 8th spot.
And the final two slots are occupied by reality shows Indian Idol 11 and Bigg Boss 13. Well, this was it for this week.
