On this special occasion, sister ties a rakhi around the wrist of her brother and he promises to protect her forever. Just like all of us, celebrities are celebrating this festival. While some shared their photos and extended wishes to their fans and followers, some celebs penned heartwarming notes for their siblings to celebrate the special day.

Superstar Akshay Kumar also wrote a heartfelt wish for his sister, Alka. He called her the most selfless person he has known. He posted a throwback picture of himself on Instagram with his sister, along with a caption that read, "My go to person when I’m in a dilemma, someone who’s always stood by my side, corrected me when I’m wrong, happiest for my achievements. Global icon Priyanka Chopra was with her brother Siddharth on the day of Raksha Bandhan for the first time in five years. And it called for a celebration.
