Rakul Preet Singh has teamed up with Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies for a woman-centric film. In the film, Rakul will essay the role of a condom tester. The film aims to battle the stigma surrounding condoms in the country using humor. Speaking about the film an elated Rakul says, "It's very exciting and I am very thrilled about that film because it's important to sort of highlight some issues in a light-hearted way and that has got me pretty excited. But for now, that will happen towards the end of the year."
A little about the job Condom Tester is a position offered by big condom companies where they hire a person above the age of 18 to simple test their new products before it hits the market. Tejas Deoskar, who last directed Madhuri Dixit Nene in her debut Marathi film Bucket List will make his directorial debut in Bollywood. The film, which is said to be a social comedy, offers a quirky take on quashing the stigma that Indians have about the use of condoms.
Apart from this, the De De Pyaar De actress has her bag full of films. She will be seen in ‘Mayday’ starring Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan. Thank God with Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra. The thriller drama is being directed and produced by Ajay Devgn himself. Doctor G’ opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.
