Pan-India superstar Prabhas is all set to portray the righteous man and the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu, Lord Ram in Om Raut’s Adipurush. Fans are mighty excited to see Prabhas playing ‘Maryada Purushottam’. In fact, on the auspicious day of Ram Navami 2021, it was reported that the director was supposed to share an update regarding the film but it couldn't happen. However, the fans were not disheartened by the news as they started pouring the social media with fan-made pictures of Baahubali star as Lord Ram.
Some were paintings of Lord Ram with Prabhas’ face while some simply photoshopped his face with the pictures of Lord Ram. There are some images from his superhit film, Baahubali and edited him as the God. One of the pictures also has actor Saif Ali Khan as Raavan with Prabhas. He plays the demon king, also known as Lankeshwar. All the pictures seemed pretty creative and intriguing. It seems like the die-hard fans of Prabhas are filling in the void on an auspicious day. Prabhas hasn’t shared any post regarding the festival on social media but the director of the film shared a tweet wishing everyone. He wrote, “One emerged from Ikshvaku dynasty, known to people as Rama by name. He is with a controlled self, highly valorous, resplendent, steadfast and a controller of his own senses. राम नवमी की मंगलमय शुभकामनाएं! #HappyRamNavami”
For the unversed, Lord Ram is considered to be the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu who stands as the symbol of Maryada Purushottam, which means the perfect man. Ram Navami is a Hindu festival which is celebrated on the ninth day of Chaitra Navratri that marks the birth of Ram in Ayodhya, the son of King Dashratha and Queen Kaushalya.
