Rishi Kapoor was one of the most loved stars in the Indian film industry. The legendary actor delivered many super hit films in his career. His death broke millions of hearts. Rishi Kapoor's last film 'Sharmaji Namkeen' released today on Amazon Prime Video. The veteran actor's last film is special for many reasons. As a tribute to him, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aamir Khan among others came together and performed on one of his famous songs.
Amazon Prime Video shared the video that also starred Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vicky Kaushal, Aadar Jain, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. The stars are seen dancing to the song 'Om Shanti Om' in silver jackets. A portion of Rishi Kapoor's original song is shown before the actors.
Rishi Kapoor's wife Neetu Kapoor shared the video on her Instagram and wrote, "Lovely tribute to Kapoor Saab #sharmajinamkeen." The video opens with a picture of Rishi Kapoor and the lines "when you truly live life, you live on". It ends with "Legends live forever." Talking about Sharmaji Namkeen, it is directed by Hitesh Bhatia. Paresh Rawal stepped in to complete the portions that the veteran actor could not. It also stars Juhi Chawla and Suhail Nayyar. The movie is produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Abhishek Chaubey.
