Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt make for the most stylish and loved couples of Bollywood. Ever since they had confirmed dating each other, the lovebirds have been inseparable. Right from spending time with their respective families to going for vacations together, Ranbir and Alia’s relationship has been the talk of the town for several months now. While their ardent fans have been eagerly waiting for them to get married, Lara Dutta has some good news for the couple’s fan base.
The Partner actress, who is currently busy promoting her film Bell Bottom, believes the power couple will get married this year. While speaking with Times Now, Lara mentioned that she can’t keep track of the couples in the younger generation, adding, “I might say something about some couple and I wouldn't even know if they are still together or not.”
However, when she was asked about Ranbir and Alia, the actress was quoted as saying. “I believe that they are getting married this year.”
To note, last year, The Sanju actor had confessed that he is hoping to get married soon to his girlfriend Alia Bhatt. The actor revealed that if there had not been a pandemic situation, the two would have been married already. In an interview with Rajeev Masand, Ranbir said, “I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick that goal very soon in my life."
While praising Alia, Ranbir had said, “My girlfriend Alia is a bit of an overachiever, and she probably took every class there is -- from guitar to screenwriting. I always feel like an underachiever next to her. But no, I didn’t take any classes.”
Meanwhile, Ranbir and Alia will soon be seen together in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Dimple Kapadia.
