Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar Watch Aamir Khan’s Dangal
Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan had organised a screening of his upcoming film at his Bandra home last night and as expected everyone had great things to say about the wrestling drama
Aamir Khan’s Dangal is one of the most awaited films of the year, the trailer of which will be out shortly. Needless to say that the actor is keen to know what his close friends think of the project. Hence, he organised a screening of the film for the cast - Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra and close friends Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Javed and Zoya Akhtar, Ayan Mukerji and Aarti Shetty among others last night at his Bandra house.
Most guests turned up around 9 pm, however Ranbir came in at 7 pm. After chatting up for a bit, the group sat down for the film at around 10 pm. As expected, the group couldn’t stop raving about the wrestling drama. In fact, Karan took to Twitter to applaud the film.
While most left a while after the screening ended, Ranbir chose to stay back with Aamir and his family. He was spotted exiting the actor’s house at 5 in the morning.
Inspired by the real-life story of Mahavir Phogat and his two daughters who went on to become celebrated wrestlers, Dangal is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and will hit theatres this Christmas, on December 23.
