Here's a coincidental but beautiful throwback to when Ranbir Kapoor's ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone and his current partner Alia Bhatt lovingly thanked the actor, albeit on different occasions; watch the video now!
Ranbir Kapoor is an actor par excellence but if there's anything else that makes him hit the headlines on regular occasions, it's his private life. Well, before currently settling down with Alia Bhatt, the Kapoor lad has had a history of dating several women in the past. The list includes Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif among others. Ranbir and Deepika started seeing each other during the beginning of their respective careers and their relationship lasted for around a year following a controversial split. He then dated Katrina Kaif for some years. Well, at present, Ranbir is seeing his Brahmastra co-star Alia Bhatt and they are going quite solid as a couple.
We recently happened to come across a video of Kapoor and call it a coincidence or whatever you like, but both Deepika and Alia had gone through a similar moment with the Barfi actor. Talking about the first part, it's an old video from an award show (2008) and the time when Ranbir and Deepika were quite vocal about their love story. The clip sees Deepika, who had won an honour, thanking Ranbir Kapoor for his contribution in her life. Well, making it cuter was Deepika not taking his name but rather looking for him in the crowd, to which, Ranbir couldn't stop blushing. As for the one featuring Alia Bhatt, it's from last year's Filmfare award where she had bagged the Best Actress award for her performance in Gully Boy.
During her speech, Alia Bhatt lovingly gazed at Ranbir and thanked him for making her heart smile and her eyes shine. She went onto confess love, making Ranbir blush hard. Well, it was the first te when the lady publicly acknowledged her love for Ranbir, though indirectly.

As for Ranbir and Alia, the two are currently looking forward to the release of Brahmastra, which is expected to hit the big screens some time in this year-end. We wait!
