During the trailer launch of his upcoming film, the actor commented on how this year is a big one for him as it is not only the year he got married but also has two big releases - Shamshera and Brahmastra.
Ranbir quoted one of his famous dialogues on marriage from the blockbuster ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', as he said, "Shaadi is dal chawal for pachaas saal till you die; arre life mein thoda bahut keema pav, tangdi kabab, hakka noodle bhi hona chahiye nah?"
"But boss, after life's experience, I feel that nothing is better than Dal Chawal!" he quipped. Soon the fans hooted and cheered from the audience and they couldn’t stop crushing over the actor and his comments in refrecene to his wife Alia Bhatt.
Gushing about his wife and married life, Ranbir added, "Alia is the tadka in dal chawal, the achar with it, the pyaz she is everything and I could not have asked for a better partner in my life."
Interestingly, Ranbir also talked about his future plans and said, "Abhi mujhe bahot kaam karna hai sir. Abhi mujhe family banani hai, unke liye kaam karna hai. Pehle mai khudke liye kaam karraha tha. Nahi nahi, abhi mai bahot kaam karunga."
Ranbir said, Alia, on the other hand, also showed her support to her hubby by sharing his trailer on all her social media handles.
On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing a dacoit in the upcoming film 'Shamshera' which hits theatres on July 22. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles.
Meanwhile, Ranbir also has his highly anticipated film 'Brahmastra' that will see him starring opposite Alia for the first time.
