Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji is currently in Australia
to attend the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. As Independence Day is round
the corner, Rani Mukerji took the opportunity to hoist the flag and make us
proud. Along with Rani, at the press conference, which was held a day before,
celebs like Freida Pinto, Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, Rajkumar Hirani, Vicky
Kaushal, Abhijaat Joshi, Mrunal Thakur and comedian Saadiya Ali were introduced
by Mitu Bhowmick Lange, director of the festival.
During the flag hoisting, Rani looked beautiful in a
floral print chiffon saree paired with a shawl to beat the cold in Melbourne.

Rani Mukerji was last seen in Hichki, which got a lot of appreciation from critics and masses alike. She won a lot of acclaim for her acting skills as she played a teacher suffering from Tourrett syndrome. As of now, post Hichki, Rani is totally by daughter, Adira's side to make up for the lost time with her during the shoot. And as for flag hoisting in Melbourne, it was surely a proud moment for our Nation.
