Last night, Rohit Shetty and Team Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 hosted a press conference and announced that the show will air its first episode on July 22. During media interaction, Rohit Shetty was asked about his next with Ranveer Singh. An excited filmmaker threw some light on the same and revealed the genre of the film as well.

“I am doing a film with Ranveer which will be full of action. First time, people will see Ranveer performing so many action sequences. He has great energy and after working with him in a commercial, even I believe so. Heroine of the film is yet not finalised, we will start working on it after Diwali,”
Not just this, Rohit even appreciated Ranveer for his connect with the janta and even tagged him as a ‘superstar’. “He connects with the mass and for me he is a superstar,” said Shetty.
Talking about the press conference, it was attended by TV celebs like Ritvik Dhanjani, Nia Sharma, Geeta Phogat, Hina Khan and Ravi Dubey.

Rohit also shared a candid moment with the media when he spoke about his interactions with the contestants in Spain. He said once he overheard contestants discussing how Rohit is partial to a few of them. The next day Rohit blasted all of them for thinking like that. “Contestants were once discussing about me being partial, so I took their case.” quipped the filmmaker.
