Ranveer Singh Reveals He Had Zero Work-Life Balance And Deepika Padukone Changed That; 'She Sits Down With Me And Goes Through My Calendar'
Ranveer Singh credits Deepika Padukone for his work-life balance
Ranveer Singh is one of the most versatile actors of Bollywood. He made his debut with Band Baaja Baaraat and then there was no looking back for him. Post his debut, he has starred in many films including Gully Boy and Bajirao Mastani. Ranveer has proved that he is a terrific actor and irreplaceable. In a recent interview, Ranveer got candid as he opened up about his obsession for acting and credited wifey Deepika Padukone for his work life balance.
Speaking to Grazia India, Ranveer confessed to being a workaholic until Deepika came into his life. The actor said, "If it were up to me, I'd work for 18 hours a day. All we have is time and what defines us is what we truly do with it."
He added, "I've been obsessed with my craft, and I had zero work-life balance for the longest time. It was only when Deepika came into my life that she made me appreciate living it. She sits down with me and goes through my calendar to ensure the same." Ranveer also shared his happiness on getting to do what he loves to do in life. He said, "There are times when I just burst into tears. To know that despite there being so much sadness and hurt around us, I still have a home to go back to, or being able to do the work that I want to. There was a time, nine years back, when I'd complain about having too much work. I'm not that person anymore. That's the last thing I'd do now."
Ranveer will be seen as a Gujarati boy in Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The movie also stars Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah. The trailer was released today and it received an amazing response.
Besides this, Ranveer will be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Alia Bhatt. The actor was shooting for the same a couple of days ago.
