Ranveer Singh Reveals He Is Discussing BABY Names With Wifey Deepika Padukone; 'I Don't Want People To Steal Them'

Ranveer Singh is leaving no stone unturned to promote his upcoming comedy-drama Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Helmed by Divyang Thakkar, Ranveer is sharing screen space with Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah. Ranveer plays a Gujarati man who goes to extreme lengths to save his unborn girl child. Well, on the personal side, Ranveer has opened up about having babies with wife Deepika Padukone multiple times.
During his recent interview with Pinkvilla, Ranveer was asked what he would name his daughter if he and his wife become parents to a girl. The actor said that he has an obsession with people's names.
He said, "I'm fascinated by unique names, every name phonetically has a different quality. Some are powerful names, some are cute names, and some are short names." Ranveer then revealed that he has a list prepared of boy names and girl names with himself. When asked if he would like to tell any of those names, Ranveer refused to reveal it. He went on to add, "I'm very secretive about it because I don't want people to steal them. I don't want them to get common. I do have a list but I'm playing that card very close to me. But, I'm discussing them with Deepika."
A few days back, during the film's trailer launch, Ranveer was asked whether he wants a boy or girl. The actor won hearts as he said, "Actually it's not my choice. Dialogue hai trailer men that when we go to mandir, prasad mein ladoo ya peda milega we can't pick. Upar wala jaisa chahega waise hoga meri niji zindagi mein. Whatever God wishes to bless Deepika and me with - be it a boy or girl, it will be a true blessing. So no choice there."
The film is all set to be released on May 13.
