Chhapaak actress Deepika Padukone was recently issued summons by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) that is probing the alleged drug nexus of Bollywood. Deepika was issued summons after her alleged WhatsApp drug chats, discussing ‘maal’ ‘hash’ with her manager Karishma Prakash surfaced. Taking to her Instagram stories, Ranveer Singh’s stylist wrote, “What are people’s thoughts on all the sadhus and babas, who they worship, smoking chillums all day?” As Singh’s stylist raised a thought-provoking question, she went on to ask, “What about Holi and all the bhang that’s consumed then?” Expressing her views regarding the use of drugs in the country, Nitasha Gaurav questioned, “Folks who’ve been to the Kumbh mela, plenty of smoking happening there too, yes?”
She then asked everyone who has ever been to the Kumbh Mela, and questioned them about the smoking happening there. Ranveer Singh’s stylist added, “Correct me if I’m wrong, didn’t the government have shops selling bhang in Benaras?” After raising the hard-hitting question on the sale of bhang in the shops of Benaras, the Bollywood stylist continued, “Isn’t all that marijuana too?” She finally concluded her post and asked, “So all that is okay? When are we arresting them?”
Meanwhile, Deepika and Ranveer arrived from Goa, where Padukone was shooting for the Shakun Batra directorial, days before her scheduled questioning session with the NCB. The Chhapaak actress will be joining the investigation on Saturday, September 26. Also Read: Deepika Padukone Was The Admin Of The WhatsApp Drug Chat Group; Reveals NCB Source-Reports
