Ranveer, Sonam, Sonakshi root for Big B as Incredible India ambassador

Sonam Kapoor believes Big B would be a wise choice. “He was the brand ambassador for Gujarat and now he’s likely to be one for India. Natural progression, isn’t it? The current government loves him. He’ll make for a great brand ambassador,” she exclaims.
BJP leader and Bachchan’s friend and colleague of 30 years, Shatrughan Sinha hasn’t been too vocal on the subject. His daughter Sonakshi Sinha, however, doesn’t mince words. The Akira actress says, “I think Mr. Bachchan represents the art and culture of the country really well. He’ll fit this role perfectly.”

Her Lootera co-star Ranveer Singh agrees with her, adding, “Mr. Bachchan is a true icon and the perfect person to represent our country.”

Director Shoojit Sircar, who worked with him in Piku, is willing to extend a helping hand if the superstar is chosen for the role. “I’m with him in whatever he chooses to do. I hope whatever the government decides is great for him.” Nawazuddin Siddiqui, currently working with Bachchan on Te3n thinks the star deserves a bigger honour.
