As Sushant Singh Rajput's death case has now gone towards the drug cartel direction, in an interview with Republic, Kangana Ranaut leveled some serious allegations against the Bollywood stars where she claimed that 99% of people have indulged in drugs. Kangana even took to her Twitter handle where she requested Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukherji, Vicky Kaushal to give their blood samples for a drug test. Seeing her tweet, a lawyer shared a tweet saying that 'not one person from that industry contradicts her statement and asked what inference is the public to draw from this deafening silence? Well, breaking the silence, Raveena Tandon who has been in the industry for more than three decades defended the industry and said that people are intelligent and they can differentiate between good and bad.
 
The lawyer's tweet read, "A Bollywood actress makes a serious charge claiming personal knowledge on a TV channel with a large viewership that 99% of Bollywood consumes narcotic drugs. Not one person from that industry contradicts her. What inference is the public to draw from this deafening silence?"
 
Responding to his tweet, she quoted her tweet and wrote, "Globally, 99 % of judges, politicians, babus, officials, cops are corrupt. This statement cannot be a generic description for all. People are intelligent. They can differentiate between good/ bad. Few bad apples cannot spoil a basket. Likewise, our industry also has the good and the bad."

Earlier, it was in an interview with Republic Kangana had spoken about the connection of Bollywood stars and drugs. She was quoted saying, "At some point, 99 percent of them. Some might have faced health conditions, or because of age, or after being admitted or having repercussions, they have quit now after doing it throughout their youth. Even if I count them, there are 99 percent of people.
