After actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on June 14, his father KK Singh lodged an FIR against his son’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and five others, accusing them of abetment of suicide. While several allegations were levelled against Rhea Chakraborty, by Sushant’s family, the actress shared her side of the story and made a set of allegations against SSR’s family and sisters as well. Now, in an important development in the actor Sushant Singh Rajput death case, latest reports state that SSR’s sisters are set to meet with the family lawyer, Vikas Singh, today. The report also stated that Sushant’s family is set to make big revelations at the 7 PM press conference.
In a significant development in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, a report in Republic stated that as per sources, SSR’s three sisters met with the family lawyer, Vikas Singh, today. It was also reported that Vikas Singh is likely to make a big revelation and hold a press conference on Wednesday. The press conference held by SSR’s family lawyer is at 7 PM wherein he will be making an important statement regarding the demise of the late actor.
Speaking to ANI, Varun Singh, who is the briefing SSR’s family lawyer Vikas Singh in the case, said, “To dispel rumours and bring some clarity about the family's stance and their case, Mr. Singh (lawyer of Sushant Singh Rajput's father) will address media today. Our FIR has nothing to do with a drug angle. We have not stressed upon it.” Varun Singh mentioned that the press conference scheduled at 7 PM today will bring clarity about the family's stance in the SSR death case.

This latest and important development has come after one of the main accused in the SSR death case, the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty made a series of allegations against the Sushant’s family. The family lawyer’s press conference also comes after Rhea gave herself a clean chit in the drugs angle and slandered late Sushant Singh Rajput in relation to drugs.
Meanwhile, actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead, allegedly hanging, in his Mumbai residence. The actor allegedly died by suicide on June 14 and no note was found. So far, the Central Bureau of Investigation is investigating the SSR death case and have interrogated Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, friend Siddharth Pithani, cook Neeraj and others.
