Raveena Tandon’s Father Ravi Tandon Passes Away, Mourns Her Father’s Demise With A Heartfelt Post, ‘I’m Never Letting Go’
Ravi Tandon passed away due to age-related ailments early Friday morning at his Juhu, Mumbai home.
Bollywood film director and producer actress Raveena Tandon’s father Ravi Tandon passed away away today, February 11, at the age of 86.
Ravi Tandon passed away due to age-related ailments early Friday morning at his Juhu, Mumbai home. Announcing his sad demise, Raveena took to Instagram and shared a heartfelt post with a series of throwback pictures with her father.
In the note, she wrote, "You will always walk with me , I will always be you, I’m never letting go. Love you papa (sic)." Several celebrities took to the comment section to condole Ravi Tandon's demise.
Several Bollywood stars namely, Chunky Panday, Neelam Kothari, among others, paid their last respects to Ravi Tandon in the comment section. Neelam wrote, "Heartfelt condolences," while Chunky dropped folded-hand emojis in remembrance.
Meanwhile, Juhi Chawla wrote, "Heartfelt condolences to you & your family Raveena.. May his soul rest in peace 🙏🏻Om Shanti 🙏🏻". Neelam Kothari, Chunky Pandey also poured in comments mourning his demise.
Speaking of Ravi Tandon, he was a filmmaker and producer in the Indian film industry. He has directed a number of hit films, like Khel Khel Mein, Anhonee, Nazrana, Majboor, Khud-Daar and Zindagi.
Previously, Raveena Tandon had once shared an old video of Rishi Kapoor thanking Ravi Tandon for directing Khel Khel Mein, saying that his association with wife Neetu began while working on the 1975 film.
For the unversed, Khel Khel Mein starred Rishi and Neetu in the lead roles. The film gave us iconic songs like Ek Main Aur Ek Tu and Khullam Khulla Pyaar Karenge, which have embodied Rishi and Neetu's romance, both on and off camera.
