Reema Lagoo's Daughter Mrunmayee Speaks: I Have Lost My Mother Too Early. The Void Will Never Be Filled

May 18, Bollywood lost its favourite mother Reema Lagoo. She was 59.

Reema breathed her last at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital after she suffered a cardiac arrest. The veteran actress, who brought in the image of a positive, contented and educated mother, passed away at 3 20 am.

Yesterday, Reema's ex-husband Vivek Lagoo spoke EXCLUSIVELY to SpotboyE.com about her.

Here is what Mrunmayee tells SpotboyE.com about her mother:

"It's too soon to talk about her at length. It hasn't sunk in yet. It was very shocking. My mother was my best friend

I was not ready. Frankly, I could never have been ready. The void cannot be filled by anybody ever.

All I can hope is that her soul is at peace and she has gone to a place where she has a better existence than she had here."

Mrunmayee is married to Vinay Waikul. Mrunmayee and Vinay became man and wife in 2014. Vinay works as an Assistant Director.

Mrunmayee has worked as Script Supervisor on many films including Dangal, PK and Gulaab Gang. She was an Assistant Director on Aamir Khan's show Satyamev Jayate.
