On screen chemistry of R. Madhavan and Dia Mirza in 2001 romantic drama, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein still gets us all mushy even after 19 years of its release. If reports are to be believed makers of this romantic drama of Maddy and Reena played by Madhavan and Dia, are planning for a sequel. Well this news has already got the fans of this crazy love story happy dancing and how! As per reports in Mid Day, it is reported of the makers finally finding the perfect script to take this love story forward which ended on reunion of these stars onscreen.
As per a source of the said publication, the makers were toying with idea of its sequel for some time now, but have finally found a script, which will appeal the audience and will look natural. Script has reached its final stage to be locked. The source was quoted saying, “The makers toyed with some concepts, on and off, over the years. Only now have they found a script that has appealed to everyone and seems a natural progression to the lives of Maddy and Reena [the characters essayed by Madhavan and Mirza respectively]. The script is in the final stage of development.”
It will explore their lives after wedlock and their attempt to revive their magic again in their relationship after few hiccups.
It also starred Saif Ali Khan, which got in a twist in this love story; helmed by Gautham Menon, though it was not a box office success, the movie was hugely loved by the audience with each passing year.
