Not so long ago, Ranbir Kapoor was featured in a paint TVC where he played the role of an oldie. But did you know how he transformed himself into an old man? Here’s how!
Nowadays, actors are using prosthetics not only for their films but in television commercials as well to bring out the essence of the character and to make it look more realistic. Having said that, even actor Ranbir Kapoor was seen using prosthetics that too for a commercial. Not so long ago, Ranbir Kapoor was featured in a paint TVC where he played the role of an oldie. But did you know how he transformed himself into an old man? Though it has been a while since the advert went on air, we stumbled upon some behind the scenes pictures of Ranbir’s transformation which looks pretty amazing.
According to BollywoodHungama, the transformation for Ranbir was done by ace makeup artist, prosthetics developer, and hair designer Preetisheel Singh at her specialized centre, Da Makeup Lab. The pictures show the process of the bald look where she is seen covering up the actor’s hair with a bald cap followed by creating his look with a receding hairline. In one of the pictures, we see Ranbir’s final look as he poses with the makeup artist. In the paint commercial ad, Ranbir plays a dual role - one of a young boy and the other old nosy matchmaker.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna. Just recently, Alia shared some candid shots with her beau and director Ayan Mukerji on her Instagram, standing in front of a huge goddess Kali idol. In the caption, the actor called the two boys 'magical' and mentioned that it is just the beginning.
