Remo D’Souza’s Brother-In-Law Jason Watkins Found Dead: Choreographer Says, ‘You Broke Our Hearts Brother, Hope You Finally Found Peace’
Remo D’Souza took to Instagram to mourn the sad demise of his brother-in-law Jason Watkins, who was found dead at his residence
Choreographer and director Remo D'Souza's brother-in-law, Jason Savio Watkins, was found dead at his residence on Thursday. He reportedly died by suicide at his residence in Mumbai’s Yamuna Nagar in Andheri due to unknown reasons. According to Police officials, Jason was declared dead when he was brought to the Cooper Hospital. His family members reportedly told the police that he was suffering from depression for the last three years after his mother Daina passed away.
The entire family is left heartbroken. Mourning over the tragic demise, Remo took to Instagram and shared a picture with his brother-in-law Jason alongside an emotional note. The post was captioned, “You broke our hearts brother , hope you finally found Peace REST IN PEACE #jasonwatkins.” As soon as Remo shared the post, tributes started pouring in from his friends from the industry.
Remo’s wife Lizelle is also struggling to come to terms with her brother’s unfortunate death. She shared a photo of Jason Savio Watkins and wrote, "Why??????? How could u do this to me. I will never forgive u." She also shared a childhood picture with him and wrote, "Why??.” In another follow post, she posted a photo featuring her brother with their mother and captioned, "am sorry mum, I failed you."
Speaking to Etimes, Lizelle revealed that Jason was disturbed. She admitted that he was still struggling to cope with his mother’s demise. She was quoted saying, "I think he couldn't come to terms with our mother's death, which happened in 2018. He was very close to her.”
