REVEALED: Shahid-Kareena share screen space in Udta Punjab
Ex-flames Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were believed to not have any sequences together in Abhishek Chaubey’s upcoming film Udta Punjab. Now, SpotboyE has exclusively learnt that the two do share the screen in a pivotal sequence. That’s not all – we hear, both Shahid and Kareena shot down the idea of shooting the scene together.

So how was it shot exactly? “Both Bebo and Shahid asked Abhishek if there was a way to shoot it separately and merge it seamlessly during the edit,” says a source.

 

It is learnt that the Ishqiya director slept over it and to ensure that the two main actors of his film aren’t uncomfortable, he decided to comply with their request.

 

“When you see the scene, it will appear as if Shahid and Kareena were physically together while filming even though that wasn’t the case,” adds the source.

 

This isn’t the first time the former couple has avoided a face-off – recently, the duo took great pains to ensure their paths don’t cross when they were shooting for their respective commitments at Mehboob Studios in Bandra, Mumbai (Ex-flames Shahid, Kareena give each other the royal ignore, October 13).

 

With them, it’s always a case of jab we (almost) met.
