Rhea Chakraborty, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend, was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in the actor’s death case. Rhea, one of the main accused in the SSR death case was arrested after she was summoned for questioning three times in a row, by the NCB, after her brother Showik Chakraborty’s arrest. Now, after Rhea Chakraborty's arrest by the NCB officials today, in an interview, Swara Bhaskar speaks in support of the Jalebi actress. In an interview with NDTV, Swara Bhaskar said, “I think that Rhea has been subjected to is absolutely horrifying and as a young person from that industry, it's very relatable and it's very very scary.” The actress mentioned how she feels that what Rhea Chakraborty has been subjected to is absolutely horrifying and very scary. Swara then mentioned during her interview how not only one but three agencies that solve crime cases are investigating Rhea Chakraborty. Bhaskar continued, “I think what has happened with Rhea is shameful, it’s shocking, and I think no one is innocent in this. We’re all responsible.”

The actress then spoke on how actor Sushant Singh Rajput death case has proven to everyone that TV journalism is dead. She also went on to blame the news consuming audience to be responsible for it. Swara said, “News consuming audience is to blame.” The actress continued and said that the actor Sushant Singh Rajput death case is caught up in the vicious TRP cycle.
