Rhea Chakraborty Had Denied Being In A Relationship With Sushant Singh Rajput Just 2 Months Before His Death

Earlier, there had been a lot of speculations around Rhea Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput. There had been multiple reports suggesting their dating rumours. The duo has been touted to be dating for quite some time but neither of them has confirmed it back then. Though in January Rhea posted two pictures with Sushant within him on his birthday and it looks like they were on a holiday. But in April this year, Rhea admitted that the relationship rumours with Sushant Singh Rajput are not true but in fact, she said they are very good friends. Yes, during an online interview with ET, the Jalebi actress was asked about her relationship status point-blank, to which she surprisingly said that she was not dating Sushant.
She said in the interview, "Neither Sushant Singh Rajput nor I have ever admitted that, so it's not true. Sushant and I are really good friends. I've known him for eight years now. We were in YRF together and we had the same manager for a long period. Our friendship has evolved over the years." Rhea went on and said, "I love all my friends and I don't hide that. I am very public about my love for the people in my life, whether they are girls or boys. Whereas Sushant is a concern, he's one of the nicest and the coolest person I know. I don't know about him but to me, he's super cute and attractive. But I don't know what he thinks about me."
Sushant Singh Rajput has bid his final adieu to the world on June 14, leaving everyone in the state of shock and grief. It was reported that he was battling with depression for the past six months before hanging himself at his Bandra residence. As Chakraborty denied being in a relationship with Rajput 2 months back before his death, she has now confirmed being in a relationship with him during her 10-hour interrogation session with Mumbai Police after his death, reported by TOI.
Meanwhile, she was also asked about the Rumy Jafrt film they were doing together, to which she denied it saying she and Sushant are not doing any film. On the other hand, a filmmaker Rumy Jafry revealed recently that he was planning to do a film with Rhea and Sushant which was going to be rom-com. The script was locked in May but the film didn’t take off due to Coronavirus lockdown.
