Actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have painted the town red with their love and mushy pictures and videos on social media. The two were supposed to get married last year but the COVID-19 pandemic turned out to be a spoilsport. Now, as fans are eagerly waiting to see them as husband and wife, Richa, to add a little excitement, took to her Instagram account and dropped a picture with her beau Ali Fazal - dolled up in ethnic attire. Seeing the picture, fans just can’t stop speculating if it is her cryptic way of telling her fans about the marriage.
But before you guys jump to any conclusion, let us give a little information regarding the picture. It is an old photo from a magazine photoshoot. Ali and Richa graced the cover of Brides Today's June-July edition and this photo was shared from that photoshoot. In the candid shot, with all smiles, we see the couple in their traditional wedding avatars while posing on a couch. Sharing the throwback photo online, Chadha captioned it as, “When you realise you are soulmates cuz you both LOLd together when the sofa made fart sounds @alifazal9.”
For a moment there, we also wondered if they were getting married. But we knew better. Or are they really?
The couple is anyway waiting to get married. Last year, speaking about the couple’s marriage, the spokesperson of Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal shared, “Given the current scenario and the unfortunate turn of events owing to the COVID-19 pandemic globally, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha have decided to postpone their wedding functions to the later half of 2020 tentatively. They wish for everyone to be healthy and safe and at no cost would want their friends, families and well wishers to be affected.”
Well, as there’s still time to see their wedding, Richa moved in with her boyfriend Ali in their new love nest during the pandemic, a place that seems to be away from all the hustle. The two have worked in Fukrey and Fukrey Returns. They will once again reprise their roles in Fukrey 3.
