Himani Bundela, a visually impaired woman, will play for Rs 1 crore in tonight's episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 13
Kaun Banega Crorepati 13, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, premiered on August 23. The megastar again enamoured the studio audience, guest expert Richa Anirudh and the viewers with his demeanour. Day 1 saw Mr Gyaanraj winning Rs 3,20,000. And the second day is expected to be even better with a visually impaired woman, Himani Bundela, thriving on the show. Yes, you read that right.
The new promo of the show has Amitabh Bachchan presenting the female contestant the 15th question - the one that can make one win Rs 1 crore. The biggest surprise here is the lady in question cannot see properly, and still manages to drive up the ladder. Sony Television shared the promo on Instagram and mentioned in their caption, “#KBC13 ke manch par aayi Himani Bundela kya apne gyaan aur hausle ki taakat se bann paayenge iss saal ki pehli crorepati? Jaanne ke liye dekhiye.”

Gyaanraj, a teacher by profession, from Jharkhand was the first contestant on the show. His students have gone on to participate and win competitions held on the national level. Also, Gyaanraj, despite being offered several jobs including one in ISRO, stuck to teaching these kids. He mentioned these kids have never stepped out of the village. He took home Rs. 3,20,000. Amitabh Bachchan is also gearing up for the release of his next movie - Rumy Jafry’s Chehre. It is scheduled to release on August 27 in theatres. And the team is really pumped up for it.
