Makeup artist Shashi Satam who did the makeup for late actor Rishi Kapoor and Jackie Shroff in the 90s and 2000s passed away on Tuesday. However, the reason behind his tragic demise is not being disclosed yet. Shroff and his wife Ayesha Shroff took to their Twitter handle and paid a heartfelt tribute to the makeup artist who served 37 years to Jackie. Remembering his make-up man, Jackie Shroff tweeted, ‘Shashi Dada Will always be in deepest corner of my My make up person for 37 years passed away.’ While Ayesha Shroff too paid homage to Shashi as she tweeted, ‘RIP Shashi dada. From Hero till now. We will miss you’

Tiger Shroff’s mother Ayesha revealed that Shashi Satam was not keeping well before the lockdown last year. However, last Wednesday, he got a stroke after he slipped in the bathroom. Talking to indianexpress.com, Ayesha said, “He had been frail since before lockdown last year. But last Wednesday, he slipped in his bathroom and got a stroke. He passed away yesterday.” On the professional front, Shashi Satam has worked on films like Hulchul (2004), 1942: A Love Story (1994) and Karz (1980) among others.
