Two years back, on this day Indian film industry lost one of the finest actors legendary Rishi Kapoor. Today on the occasion of his 2nd death anniversary, Kapoor family's new bride Alia Bhatt took her Instagram to offer her condolence on her father in laws death anniversary. Alia shared a black and white family picture alongside a heartfelt note.
In the photo, Alia can be seen smiling while posing with Rishi, Neetu Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. While sharing the picture on her Instagram story, the actress wrote, “Always…And, forever” along with heart emoji.
All can be seen twinning in black as they pose together for the picture-perfect.
Rishi's wife Neetu Kapoor also shared a glimpse of her dance reality show where she can be seen missing her husband and also cried while the AV of the vintage couple's adorable moment was played. Sharing the show's glimpse, Neetu wrote, "Today is two years since rishi ji left us … loosing a partner of 45 years was difficult n painful at that time the only way to heal my heart was to keep myself mentally occupied .. Movie n television heldped me achieve that 🙏 rishiji will always be remembered n will stay in everyone’s heart forever.
For the unversed, Rishi Kapoor died on April 30, 2020 at the age of 67. He was battling with leukemia, a blood cancer for the past two years.
Talking about Alia Bhatt, soon after her marriage to Ranbir Kapoor, the actress got busy with the shoots of her upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani along with Ranveer Singh. The film has been directed by Karan Johar. Apart from this, the actress also has Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa along with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif in the pipeline.
