Rishi Kapoor Demise: Daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni Thanks Everyone For Sending Prayers In Tough Times; Shares A Memory From 2010 New Year's Eve
Rishi Kapoor's daughter Riddhima Sahni thanked everyone for supporting them in tough times.
Bobby actor Rishi Kapoor breathed his last on April 30, 2020. The actor was battling cancer for almost two years and on April 30, in the morning, he lost the battle of life. Sadly, due to the lockdown, the veteran actor's daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni could not attend her funeral. She was in Delhi and could not receive permission to fly down to Mumbai. She was granted permission to travel by road and she, unfortunately, missed the funeral. Now, Riddhima is home by her mother Neetu Kapoor's side. On Instagram, Riddhima thanked all for the support.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Riddhima thanked everyone for sending in prayers and thoughts for the Kapoor family to sail through the tough times. "Thank you everyone for prayers and thoughts", she wrote. She also shared a throwback picture comprising of Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, husband Bharat Sahni and herself which was clicked on the New Year's Eve of 2010.
Riddhima has stayed active on Twitter and has expressed she is missing her father too much post his demise. Earlier, Riddhima had posted a picture of her father and wished he could come back. She had also shared a picture of Rishi Kapoor with his mother and written that they have reunited in heaven.

Rishi Kapoor passed away in Sir H N Reliance Hospital in Mumbai. Post his demise, Neetu Kapoor posted a note on Instagram thanking the Ambani family for all the support they extended. She wrote, "For us, as a family, the last two years have been a long journey. There were good days, there were a couple of bad days too.. needless to say it was full of high emotion. But it’s a journey we would not have been been able to complete without the immeasurable love and support of the Ambani family."
