Rishi Kapoor Funeral: Veteran Actor Laid To Rest In The Presence Of Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Kareena, Saif, Abhishek Bachchan And Others
Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor’s funeral took place some time ago in the Chandanwadi crematorium, Abhishek Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Saif Ali Khan among others were a part of it
One of the most celebrated stars from the Kapoor clan – Rishi Kapoor – took his last breathe today in Mumbai. The actor was recently admitted to a hospital in Mumbai after complaining of breathing problems and it is being reported that he succumbed to cancer. Ever since the tragic news hit the internet, fans and celebrities from across are mourning Rishi’s sudden demise. After the veteran actor’s mortal remains were picked from the hospital, his funeral took place in Mumbai’s Chandanwadi crematorium some time ago.
The funeral was attended by Rishi Kapoor’s family members, Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain and friends from the industry like Alia Bhatt, Saif Ali Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Ayan Mukerji among several others. Rishi’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor, too, wished to see her deceased father for one last time; however, she couldn’t make it as she was travelling all the way Delhi via and it’s nearly impossible to reach Mumbai in such a short span of time. The Coronavirus lockdown has brought all the flights to a halt, unfortunately.
Rishi Kapoor's mortal remains were electrically cremated in the presence of almost all his family members. A couple of pictures saw Abhishek Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and other Kapoor family members dressed up all-white attires as they went for the funeral procession.

Rishi’s co-star and dear friend Amitabh Bachchan was the first celebrity to break this devastating news on the internet. He had tweeted, “He's GONE..! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away. I am destroyed !" May the legendary actor rest in peace, sending prayers for all his loved ones.
