Bollywood recently lost two gems in Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. The sudden passing away of both the talented actors has left almost everyone in shock. While many B-Town celebrities mourned the death of Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan sending heartfelt condolences to their families, in a video shared on social media, Rishi Kapoor’s Damini co-star Meenaakshi Sheshadri mourns the sad demise of the veteran actor and Irrfan Khan. The actress also talks about the experience she had while shooting with Rishi Kapoor.
Taking to Twitter, in the video, Meenaakshi Sheshadri opened up about how she is talking to everyone with a heavy heart in memory of two fantastic actors of Bollywood- Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. Mourning the demise of the actors, Meenaakshi said, “It’s with a very heavy heart that I am talking to you today in memory of two fantastic actors the Bollywood industry – Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. We have lost both these great personalities just the last few days. It is a tremendous loss not just for the audiences and fans, but for the film industry itself. We have lost such talented artists and such wonderful human beings."
As Meenaakshi Sheshadri has worked with Rishi Kapoor in five films throughout her career, the actress mentioned how fortunate she has been to work with the late actor especially in the famous film Damini. Talking about Rishi Kapoor, the actress mentioned that he was a very considerate co-star and shared it was wonderful working with him. Check the video below:
Work-wise, Rishi Kapoor and actress Meenaakshi Sheshadri starred in films Vijay, Sadhana, Bade Ghar Ki Beti and Gharana, but are most remembered for their movie Damini. Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020, after a valiant two-year-long battle with leukemia, while Irrfan Khan died on April 29, 2020, after his courageous battle with cancer, due to a colon infection.
