Riteish Deshmukh Reveals His Ego Was Hurt After Being Labeled As ‘Genelia’s Husband’ In Kerala
During a recent episode of a comedy show, Riteish Deshmukh revealed that his ego was hurt when he was once labeled as Genelia’s husband in Kerala
Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza are one of the most adorable couples of Bollywood. Every time they step out holding hands, they make sure to turn heads. Recently, Genelia and Riteish appeared on a comedy show, promo of which has already hit the web platforms. We got our hands on the latest video of Riteish and Genelia on the sets of a comedy show where the Housefull 4 actor revealed that his ego was hurt when he was once labeled as Genelia’s husband.
In the clip, Riteish revealed that when he had gone to Kerala he was recognized as Genelia’s husband. Deshmukh said, “We were playing Celebrity Cricket League in Bengaluru. There was a South team from which two players were whispering ‘Genelia’s husband’. My ego was hurt and I told them, ‘I am Genelia’s husband here, in Maharashtra it’s Riteish’s wife’. You know what he told me, ‘Sir, Riteish’s wife in one state but Genelia’s husband in Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu...”
Not only that during the same show, Riteish gave a quirky answer when he was asked if he took pheras or oaths. He was seen saying, “Phere liye they. Wo kya hota hai na, jab aap shapath lete ho to wo paanch saal ki sarkar hoti hai, paanch saal me badal jati hai (We took pheras. The thing is when you take an oath, it is for a five-year government, it gets changed after five years).”
Riteish Deshmukh With Genelia
