SS Rajamouli's RRR is breaking records. The film is doing amazingly well at the box office. After getting delayed several times due to COVID-19, RRR released on Friday and it has turned out to be everything fans expected it to be. Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer is receiving a great response and the box office numbers and fans' reaction says it all. The SS Rajamouli directorial also features Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Olivia Morris in pivotal roles. The stars have delivered phenomenal performances. Reportedly, before the filming began, there were several issues with the casting.

Before Alia and Olivia came on board, several actresses were offered the film.

Shraddha Kapoor: The actress was reportedly approached for the film. However, she turned down the offer as she was busy with other projects at the time. TOI had quoted a source saying, "Shraddha is now one of the busiest actresses in Bollywood. She already has to adjust her dates according to multiple films that she has signed up. Her name was on top of the list, but it does seem that she will not be able to adjust her dates for the film." Parineeti Chopra: During the promotions of Kesari, there were rumours that Parineeti is a part of SS Rajamouli's film. She was asked if the rumours are true and she said, "I'll only say that you guys should wait and believe the things we announce."

Daisy Edgar-Jones: The British actress had actually started shooting the film. However, she later announced on Instagram that she's no longer a part of it. She shared a post that read, "RRR: Unfortunately due to family circumstances I am unable to participate in filming for this wonderful film. The script is truly brilliant and it's such a great character. I hope whenever they cast receives a warm a welcome as I have and I wish the production all the best."

Amy Jackson: If reports are to be believed, Amy was approached to play Jr NTR's love interest. However, due to her pregnancy, she had to turn down the film.

Isabelle Kaif: Katrina Kaif's sister Isabelle Kaif was reportedly offered the film. IndiaToday.in quoted a source saying, "Isabelle Kaif was offered the role of the foreigner, who is seen as Jr NTR's love interest in the film. The actress refused to do the film because she wanted the script and details of the movie."
