Saif Ali Khan Gets Trolled Again; After 'No India Before British’ Remark, Nawab Says 'Andheri Is Not Mumbai'

Not very long ago, Saif Ali Khan was at the receiving end of criticism for his statement over the existence of India before the British rule. The Nawab of Pataudi stated that he believes that the concept of India didn’t exist until the British gave one. However, as expected, he was both trolled and bashed for his remark. Even Panga actress Kangana Ranaut opposed his statement and reminded him of Mahabharata. Nevertheless, Saif has yet again, found himself in the hot waters for his recent statement.

After trolling the Nawab for his history bluff, the naysayers now doubt his geography skills after he says Andheri is not a part of Mumbai. Just sometime back, we came across a video which seems like an interview clip. In the video, the anchor says, "So we are driving down Bombay, this is called the Bombay journey." To which Jawaani Jaaneman actor says, "Technically you're calling it Bombay, it's now Mumbai, and this is not even Mumbai, this is Andheri." Soon his statement became the butt of all jokes. A Twitter user wrote, "Arey BC iski tho history ke saath saath geography bhi weak hai!" While another one also hinted towards his remarks on India before British, "Hahaha...Kuch din pehle History ki maa behen ki, aaj Geography ki waat laga di...Pura social science subject par Andheri..i mean andhera chha gaya" Yet again, one more trolled him and said, "History ke saath geography buff bhi hai" As many were busy trolling him for calling Andheri not Mumbai, there were few who called out on naysayers, saying that the actor is technically correct.

We also picked those comments, one said, "Technically he's right. Even in today's time , majority of Mumbaikars from suburbs say " going to Mumbai " when they plan to go to south Mumbai.  Municipal corporation wise he's obviously wrong where Mumbai is included from Dahisar to Churchgate side." There's another one who wrote, "Municipal Corporation also divides it into city and suburbs.. My dad still calls even Bandra as "suburbs" Technically he is right though as it's after Mahim but sounds funny."
