Saif Ali Khan-Rani Mukerji To Begin Shooting For Bunty Aur Babli Sequel From Next Week?- EXCLUSIVE
Saif Ali Khan will be seen opposite Rani Mukerji in the sequel to the HIT 2005 film Bunty Aur Babli. Now, SpotboyE has it that the duo will begin shooting next week onwards
The Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji starrer Bunty Aur Babli that released in 2005 was a hit and we totally enjoyed the songs especially Kajra Re that had Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan dancing alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Now, after almost 14 years, it’s sequel is in the making and since quite some time, there have been reports of Saif Ali Khan teaming up with Rani this time.
SpotboyE.com has it that Saif has indeed joined the star-cast and will be the male lead this time instead of Abhishek Bachchan. And we have a new update for you. The duo will begin shooting for the film from next week in Benaras and Bulandshahr. Saif and Rani have worked together in films like Hum Tum, Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic and Ta Ra Rum Pum. Amongst the 3, Hum Tum turned out be quite a success while the remaining two tanked at the box-office.
Their last outing Ta Ra Rum Pum was in 2007 so it’s after 12 years that they would be reuniting for a film. The Bunty Aur Babli sequel will be produced by Yash Raj Films. While the original film was directed by Shaad Ali, the sequel will reportedly be helmed by Varun V Sharma. The film will also star Gully Boy fame Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh who makes her Bollywood debut.
With two talented performers Saif and Rani in the house and with a sequel to a HIT film, the expectations are naturally high.
