Saira Banu Gets Discharged From Hospital; Veteran Actress Is 'Back Home And Resting'
As many are already aware, veteran actor and late Dilip Kumar's wife, Saira Banu was admitted to the Hinduja hospital in Mumbai a couple of days ago. Fans and well-wishers of Saira Banu can now breathe a sigh of relief as she has been discharged from the hospital. She has returned home and is currently resting. Faisal Farooqui, Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu's trusted aide shared the news.

"Saira ji is doing well. She's discharged and is back home. Resting. Thank you for your prayers," Faisal Farooqui told PTI. Saira Banu's husband and actor Dilip Kumar died on July 7 at the age of 98. Saira Banu was by his side till he breathed his last. The couple, who acted together in several films, including Gopi and Sagina, got married in 1966.

Earlier it was reported that the veteran actress has been diagnosed with depression and coronary syndrome. It was also said that the doctors had advised an angiogram procedure to understand the cause of her heart condition. But she had refused an angiography. However, Dr. Gokhale rubbished such reports and clarified that she is not battling depression. He said, "Sairaji is not battling depression, plus she is not being difficult at all which in other words means she is not avoiding angiography. The angiography will be done at a later date after we control her diabetes. So where's the question of her saying 'no' to it?"
